Kingdom Causes Long Beach is a network of catalysts obsessed with unearthing the treasures God has placed in the City of Long Beach. We believe that the resources to sustain community transformation are right under our noses, in our neighborhoods, schools and churches, in local businesses and local government. These treasures, be they people, materials or programs, are surfaced when relationships are cultivated.

In our obsession with unearthing treasures, we are asking the question, "What does Kingdom Cause"? We have a hunch that it starts when these relationships are cultivated, reconciled and grown- this is where God's Kingdom is present. The fruit it bears is Shalom- wholeness, peace and prosperity. It's what we're called to seek before our own needs (Matthew 6:33), to pray for (Matthew 6:10; Jer 29:7) for the city we've been placed in (Acts 17:26-27). It's neighbors actually loving one another, going out of their way to serve. It's local businesses sewing back into the community and the community in turn, supporting them. It's the local government listening to the citizens and the citizens supporting and praying for our local government.
