Kingdom Causes, Inc.

Kingdom Causes was formed in Long Beach in 2003 to inspire, connect and mobilize the faith-based community toward good work for the city. Initially, the effort coordinated community outreach efforts among small house churches. This early work was successful, and it was apparent that there was much opportunity among the faith-based community to do something beyond their churches. Kingdom Causes is now regional, with units in eight cities. We seek to identify, empower, and support local citizens and their leaders. Our staff members are indigenous to the city; each understanding that sustainable transformation within a city is led and driven by local citizens.

Kingdom Causes Long Beach (KCLB) continues to be an important voice, a critical catalyst, and a respected mobilizer among faith-based communities in Long Beach. We work to see tangible community change in three areas: healthy individuals, youth and families, a vibrant Church of the City, and thriving neighborhoods. With a board of directors comprising of government, business and community leaders, KCLB has invested in four neighborhoods, four city causes, city/non profit partnerships and developed over 50 faith-based partnerships.
