ABCD training is for anyone in the church or community that wants to represent Christ more effectively in their neighborhoods and the city.

1) The aim of ABCD is to communities transformed from the inside out as we discover and activate the treasure (people, resources, etc.) God has already placed in the neighborhoods around us (Individuals and congregations).

2) The training will

• enhance the congregations' relevance to surrounding community
• further equip leaders and congregants to represent their local congregations in the community
• challenge current paradigms of community development
• give theological basis for ABCD
• equip you to engage more effectively in relationships in the neighborhoods you're in
• connect you to network of people- peers and coaches- actively doing ABCD
• serve as launchpad for bi-monthly cohorts, where you'll learn what's going on in other neighborhoods throughout the city and be able to support others and be supported

3) Success stories

• Relationships across cultural and language barriers
• gang members choosing life change- pursuing education and military service
• entrepreneurs identified and empowered to pursue business ventures
• neighborhood associations formed
